Spray Foundation

After years of using mineral own brand eyelashes this spring I was finding it to be just a little to dry for my skin. Reluctantly I headed to the department store to find a new liquid foundation. While walking past the Dior counter I stumbled across the new “own brand eyelashes” spray foundation. This foundation works great although I do have a few tips on how to make sure you get the proper application.

Oifam you need to make sure you tie your hair back and either wear a thick headband or bandanna to protect your hair otherwise you end up with a bit of a mess. Also its best to apply this while still in your robe or towel, you wouldn’t want to get it on your clothing. I first tried using this foundation after applying just my daily moisturizer/sunscreen but quickly found out that you do need to apply a good primer first otherwise it tends to emphasize your pores.

The best way to get even coverage is to first apply it in a “Z” across your face and then a “W”. This will give you the most flawless application. You will also need to use a foundation brush or sponge after application to even it out in a few areas. Remember to apply the foundation before you apply any other makeup such as mascara or brow power otherwise you will end up with white own brand eyelashes and brows and will have to reapply anyway.

This foundation is a little on the expensive side, its about $55 which is more expensive than my old mineral foundation which was about $30. It also doesn’t last nearly as long as the mineral foundation but I found it to be well worth the own brand eyelashes. It’s so quick and easy in the morning, to be finished your foundation application in 30 seconds is a great time saver for any woman on the go!
